The Civil Justice Network provides free attorney referrals to low and moderate-income clients in Maryland and Washington, DC. Clients are referred to a solo or small firm lawyer in the Network who has agreed to provide legal services at reduced fees in most cases. The client and attorney then decide on fee arrangements and representation. Some forms of representation require upfront fees or a retainer.
If needed, you may also search this directory by name or practice area.
If you present a problem that cannot realistically be handled by one of the Network members, we will attempt to refer you to a Maryland, Virginia or Washington DC administrative agency that may handle your problem.
For clients with legal problems outside of Maryland and Washington, DC, try the American Bar Association's website for legal referrals in your area.
